The youngest among the Zanzis, Paddu—as she is known—is the darling of Zansam.
Bubbly, childlike and gifted, she is as capable of rendering a female lead as well as a male...and with equal effortlessness. In spite of being completely untrained in music, she has the knack of effortlessly picking up and rendering tunes on a harmonium.
A student of psychology, Padmini is also a professional understudy to Rujuta and aspires to be an interior designer herself. She aspires to pursue higher studies in law and become a practicing lawyer.
Little known about Padmini is that she teaches at a blind school in Bangalore and her almost parental devotion to her Simba, her dog.
On the musical front, what she lacks in concerted focus and single minded dedication, Padmini more than compensates with an exuberance of talent.
Besides being a capable lead singer and an integral part of all practice sessions with her harmonium, she also completes the Zansam Chorus.
